This seagull was standing off my himself/herself. There were other seagulls there. My guess is that this gull was trying to understand why the gulls do not fly south for the winter. At least that is what I was wondering! The frame was created in Essentials 3.

    There’s everything to love about this photo: the melancholy lookig dove and its reflection are crisp; with the slender black boder of water, the contrast against the granual almost chalk-like backgroud of the snow.

    Perhaps his feet are frozen to the surface of the lake…or he just likes to look at his own reflection which you captured quite well.
